VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX review

September was hugely busy and I kept seeing pics of the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box online but just never got the chance to even OPEN my box so at the weekend I made time and used some of the products from this month, and previous months. So here’s my review and breakdown of the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box with links (which may be affiliate links) and a total value. Remember you sign up for October at Vegan Cuts! It’s really one of the best things I’ve done. Great vegan, cruelty free, beauty products delivered to your door for $19.95 plus often they are organic too!

Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box Review

September’s box featured SIX products! My cruelty free make-up collection is growing and growing and I’m super stoked to have thrown out some old non-vegan products this weekend. I gotta tell you that I am LOVING Vegan Cuts beauty boxes. If you are looking to embrace the cruelty-free lifestyle you really cannot go wrong with this service. Sign up! Makes for a great Christmas or birthday gift because you get a gift every month.

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW AU NATURAL CREME EYE SHADOW

So first up in the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box is this beautiful shimmering organic creme eyeshadow, shade: Palma, from Au Naturale. Made with essential oils to nourish your skin while you look fabulous. I have to say that if not for Vegan Cuts I wouldn’t have tried creme eyeshadows and discovered that I freakin’ love them! Thanks to them I now have three, and love every single one! This is perfect for day or night. Just to give you a heads up remember you pay $19.95 for your monthly subscription? This product alone is $20 value! BOOM… everything from here on is free!

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW DERMA E NIGHT CREME

As someone with what it now considered ‘mature’ skin I appreciated this Hydrating Night Creme from. Derma E Designed to plump the skin and reduce the look of wrinkles… yes please!!! I love this for so many reasons. One that is probably unique to me is that Derma E is based in the city I live in!!! How did I NOT know this? As I am almost out of my Rosehip Seed Oil I am eager to try this and compare. The Glam hydrating face creme from Augusts box was super hydrating so I’m eager to compare. This is a 1/2 oz sample with a $7.50 value. I love when companies offer samples so I will tell you that Derma has a sample selection available. 10 samples for just $4.95 for shipping & handling, and you get $5 coupon off your next purchase. Find more details here.

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW NORABLOOM

Also included in the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box are these Organic Rose Flower Water cotton pads from Norabloom. Norabloom is a beauty lounge in New York that makes their own organic, cruelty free products. These smell divine and I’m thinking will be perfect for our Hawaii trip (along with few of the other travel size things I’ve picked up in the boxes from recent months!. These are used as a toner and this pack has three pads and has a $3 value.

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW BEING CLAY MASK

I initially joined Vegan Cuts to be introduced to new vegan cruelty-free products AND to spice up my skin care routine. I admit that in the past I haven’t taken very good care of my skin. As such I’m paying for it now with age spots, uneven skin tone, dryness, and wrinkles. While some of this is due to aging I’m sure neglection is also a key factor. So I am eager to try this Black Clay Mask from BEING. Simply mix with water, apply to face, allow to dry then wash off with water. Thinking this is something I can use before I shower. Honestly it looks like the tooth whitener from the July box so if you still haven’t used that, better not get them mixed up! Again this is a sample 1/4 oz size  with a $5 value.

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW ENFUSA BATH BOMB

One of the products I will be taking to Hawaii with us is this bath bomb. In california we have a water crisis on our hands so it’s not ethically  possible to use this here but as I’ll be off on vacation soon I’ll take it with me to relax in a bath. It’s been a while! THis is a mini 2 oz bath bomb and you can find different scents on Amazon (which look like cupcakes! So cute) or the Enfusa website. Gotta say I love the fact that this one is scented “let’s get naked”, lol! It’s a combination of grapefruit, apple, strawberry, tangerine, peach, black currant and rose petals. Value of $3.99 on their website.

VEGAN CUTS SEPTEMBER BEAUTY BOX REVIEW AUBREY ORGANICS HAIR SPRAY
Yep still going and time for the last item in the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box which is a 30ml sample size Chia Hairspray by Aubrey Organics. Love that this is an organic hairspray, in a pump dispenser so better for the environment and me! I was also interested to see they have a whole Chia haircare line on their website too. I’d never even seen chia as an ingredient in anything but edible products. I’m interested to try this and compare to the non-vegan spray I am using currently. Love to be able to change that to a cruelty free version! Again sample size with at least a $3 value.

Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box – final thoughts..

Another month goes by on my subscription which brings my total to FOUR beauty boxes and I am LOVING this service. I’ve gotten products from bath bombs, to lipsticks, eyeshadow, hairspray, tooth whiteners, eye cream, moisturizers, masks, cleansers, perfume and more. Seriously if you haven’t tried the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box service get on it. 4-7 new products each month and at least one full size product. Plus all the samples are great for trying new brands, travel, gym etc. So total value for September: For the $19.95 I paid for the month I got $42 in product! Boom! August was over $60!

I love how there are subscription boxes to fit the needs of everyone. I actually received a sample of Derma-e in my Conscious Box subscription – haven’t used it yet though. I love that all of the product featured here are cruelty-free.
