I’m all about getting BANG for your buck and this week I wanted to show you a total body workout using the agility ladder with my workout and video that I cleverly titled: Total Body Agility Ladder Workout. I know… I’m a literary genius. Anyway, for some reason when people think of agility ladder they hit a wall and think it’s only good for upper body cardio training, not so friends, not so. So this week’s workout includes cardio, strength, upper body, lower body and core! The full video is below, or you can view it on my YouTube channel.
Total Body Agility Ladder Workout
So the workout has 6 exercises, each one done for 45s of work then 15s rest. So each set of work is 6 minutes. If you have more time simply repeat the workout as many times through as you wish. Or use the exercises as inspiration and include them in part of your other workouts.
- Lateral High Knees
- Walking Planks
- Happy Feet
- Stepping Plank
- Jumping Jacks
- Plank Jacks
A full description of each is visible in the video so make sure to check out the video. I was really hoping to update the agility ladder posts with a printable of basic foot patterns, maybe I’ll include that in my next newsletter? Right now I have a busy two weeks ahead as I have mock yoga teacher exams and then the Les Mills BodyPump 95 launch (yes I’ll post the playlist soon!!!).
Have you done a workout with an agility ladder?
