It's important to make fitness fun and one way to do that is to turn it into a game. Enter HIIT the Game by Stack 52. HIIT is an acronym for high intensity interval training, something I used to do a lot years ago but as I've been plagued with minor injuries that have kept me from high impact exercises I haven't done hiit for a while. The idea is that you do short but intense workouts giving 80-90% effort in short interval workouts. Studies have shown that interval workouts like HIIT burn fat, …

Workout Wednesday – AMRAP #4
Another Workout Wednesday and I thought this week that I'd do another AMRAP. I like doing these videos as they are quicker to record and upload. Workout With Di #7 – cardio conditioning circuit
It’s Wednesday so time for another workout video! This week I went with circuit training intervals. We have 5 exercises, 45 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest. Last weeks wasn't that high impact, and so this week I am bringing back the impact and intensity. Work got a little crazy which means I'm pooped when I finish. Hoping in a couple of weeks I'll …
Workout Wednesday – WoWDi AMRAP #1

Feel free to tweak the reps (I did part way through for the push plank pull through!). If 10 reps is more your …
Workout Wednesday – WoWDi #5

We’re doing 20 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest for all exercises, this is because two of the exercise we are going to alternate right/left. So we split the routine into Two Sets with 2 exercises in each set. You'll do set 1 for 10 minutes and then Set 2 for 10 minutes for a total of a 20 minute workout, as always add on a few minutes for a warm …
