This week saw the arrival of my monthly beauty box from Vegan Cuts. I’m going to say right now that hands down this is the best box I’ve received from them. Which as I’ve loved all the boxes, and only had ONE product in the four months that I’ve been subscribing that I haven’t been able to use that’s a pretty good stat! So what’s the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box? It’s a monthly subscription service that contains 100% vegan, cruelty free and mostly organic beauty products. In each box you get a variety of products including skincare and cosmetics and each box contains 4-7 products, with box full size and sample size products. Seriously they are awesome, go sign up for your subscription to the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, they also do a Snack Box!
So what’s in the August Vegan Cuts Beauty Box?
Five products in this months box. Value of this months box? Easily $60 and then some! For $19.95 this box is a steal! I think they now taking orders for September’s box but some of the August products are available in the store so let’s get busy with the August review. First up is a dry shampoo powder by One Love Organics $12 value. If you aren’t sure what a dry shampoo is, it’s something that will change your freakin’ life. Love it! This powder works great too. I preferred to Sprinkle mine in my hands then into my hair, then comb through. Works great! This product is also available on Amazon.
Next in the box, and possibly my favorite in this months box, is Gleam lip radiance by Melanie Mills. There were two color options for this month and you get a random choice, I got the one I was hoping for called Uncontrollable! Apt I thought. This alone is a $24 value, so with this one product you get back the cost of your subscription. This lip color feels AMAZING on, and looks great! I already added more to my Amazon Beauty Wishlist, yeah!
So the third product in this box I have NO CLUE how to pronounce so good job this is a blog and I can just type it. It’s lavender and vanilla detoxfoliant body scrub by Kaeng Raeng. This is a sample size and a $5 value. If you’re keeping tally that’s already $41 worth of products for $19.95, yeah I don’t know how they do it either! Seriously though Kaeng Raeng, how do you say that? I haven’t used this product yet, saving it for a gym visit (post jacuzzi/sauna) but I will tell ya it smells DIVINE!
Yep, still going with product number four. Glam Natural Hydrating Face Cream. This is a sample size, and perfect for the gym bag! Which is where mine will be going for sure. I love these small sizes for my gym toiletries as they take up less space and I feel like I’m at the spa, lol. Hey I can cream right? Looking at their website I just saw the had a sample kit, but are currently out of stock. Booo! I’ll be stalking them till they get them back in store for sure!
Finally the last product in the August Vegan Cuts Beauty Box (fanfare please)…. “Hello” fragrance by Harvey Prince Organics. When I joined Vegan Cuts beauty box I really didn’t think I’d be getting fragrance, I don’t know why, maybe I just figured it was so expensive, but this little sampler is awesome, 10ml and perfect size for your handbag. It smells just wonderful! I love it. I admit I was still using Clinique Happy Sampler I got ages ago, back when I didn’t care that my beauty products were vegan. Now I’m so happy that I can clear out my cosmetics and fragrance and be 100% cruelty free!
So there you have it. The complete review, and unboxing of the August Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. If you haven’t tried their service I highly recommend it, and I’m not just saying that because I’m an ambassador! If you are looking for cruelty free, vegan, and natural products this is the service for you. This box has a $67 value for $19.95 how can you pass that up? You can’t right? I couldn’t! That’s not including the face cream either, because I couldn’t find a value for that. I’m truly blown away by this service. If you want to try out a box, you can sign up here
