Review: SoyJoy Pineapple

June 27, 2011 //  by Di Hickman//  Leave a Comment

I did a previous review on Soy Joy bars, taste tasting the Blueberry and Banana flavors. The folks at SoyJoy saw the review on Twitter and asked me if I wanted to try their newest flavor – PINEAPPLE! Yes please! I love all fruits and pineapple is definitely in the top 3 (level with kiwi fruit, yum! Those wondering banana and strawberry are my top two). After I sent the folks at SoyJoy my contact info a couple of days later I received a box in the mail 🙂

The box contained TWO pineapple SoyJoy bars, some literature and a fun pair of sunglasses! Yes I know there is only one SoyJoy bar in the photo! What can I say? We had to try it immediately 😉 The sunglasses I thought “who would wear glasses with lime green side arms? Well ME that’s who! They actually came in really handy when we decided to do some gardening . They protected my eyes whilst Bob wielded the weed whacker, and protected me from the sun 🙂

So enough about the cool glasses, what about the bar itself? Delicious! At 140 calories this bar packs a punch! As soon as you open the package the pineapple aroma hits you, yummy! Very refreshing and VERY SUMMER!

Pineapple SoyJoy is deliciously bakes, all natural and the only bar made with the unique combination of real pineapple and ground whole soybeans. It has 4 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and only 140 calories.

Both of us really enjoyed the flavor, and it’s moved to the top 3 in our list of SoyJoys (blueberry and berry topping out the top two). Be on the look out for the newest flavor to the SoyJoy Family hitting stores this month!
