Hey Everyone! I'm back! We arrived back home on Thursday night last week and it's been a bit of whirlwind getting back into a routine. Sky has been a little under the weather which hasn't helped but hoping that once tomorrow (Thanksgiving) is over things will settle down a little and I get back into a proper routine. Then it'll be Christmas/hanukkah/yule holidays and soon 2015! Holy Moly am I the only one that thinks 2014 went by in the blink of an eye??? This weeks workout is a quickie. …

8 minute fun & effective step workout
When I taught fitness classes in the UK I had regular step classes twice a week. A few years ago we picked up this Reebok step, free on the curbside. Amazing what people throw out. One woman's trash, is another woman's treasure. And this step has definitely been a treasure. From a stand-alone step workout to circuit intervals it's been a part of my fitness regime since. Music: Les Mills workout music
Firstly apologies for not getting the new bodypump and cxworx playlists up on the blog yet. I'm currently waiting on iTunes to approve my application for a collections/iMix account. Hopefully once that goes through I will have access again to creating playlists for you to purchase in iTunes. Until then I thought I'd share that Les Mills are finally getting with it and realizing that class members want the music. Last year they released four albums via iTunes for all the Les Mills music …
Love Run 5K 2013 race recap
In 2010 the Love Run in Westlake was my 2nd ever run. It was my first timed run and my first real "event". Previously I'd run a fun 5k in Woodranch which whilst fun and a good prep for races wasn't really a 'proper' racing event. In the Love Run in 2010 I'd done the 5k in 25:07 so I was eager to get at least that time again however the week leading up to the race had not been without its issues! I'd been slowly breaking in some new running shoes (new balance) and had walked, biked and done …
Review – CORE Foods
Before I went to England in January/February I signed up to take part in a review for CORE foods. Just before we were due to leave they contacted me telling me the food was due to arrive, as I knew I'd be out of the country I asked them to delay till I got back and they agreed :) When I got home mid February my sample pack arrived later that week. I want to thank CORE foods for their understanding. I really wanted to do this review and they accomodated my last minute travel plans. So on with the …
1st Dirtbike ride in 18 months – getting the monkey off my back!
Well it's been a long time coming but finally I got the chance to get back on the dirtbike Tuesday! For those that don't know I've been riding dirtbikes a few years now and last year had a pretty crappy crash during our last day at El Mirage. I came off the bike hard, landed on my left side, and the bike was pretty beat up. Unfortunately with my work schedule it's been tough getting time to go riding (knowing the consequences now especially!) but I finally got chance to get out and get that …
