Back in June I was in the gym and saw a member with the most awesome outfit. Like something you see in magazines. When I asked her where she got her outfit from? Her answer: “Fabletics“. In July I got to see Fabletics at the IDEA World Fitness Convention and almost bought some of the clothes but decided as I’d already spent a small fortune on clothing to wait… and I did wait, till the end of August when I signed up to get my first Fabletics outfit for extremely cheap and couldn’t really be beat price. Mine was just $25! Sign up to get your first outfit discounted!
After perusing the outfits, which is fun in itself, I settled on something to teach yoga. For me half the battle is knowing what I want the outfit for. I run, cycle, swim, lift, do yoga and well everything in between so I love that one month I can get shorts and tank for running, the next month leggings and top for yoga, or even skip a month
because I found something cute at Target. So I ordered my first Fabletics outfit then waited…
The outfit I ordered was called Kailua, which was the Oula Tank and Cala Capris. The pants I got size XS and top a Small, just like I would Champion C9 at Target, and they fit pretty similar to C9 too! Obviously the first thing you do when you get a new outfit is to try it on and do the squat test. New workout pants always require a squat test. This involves squatting with your back to a mirror so you can see if the pants are see through (cough-lululemon-cough). Thankfully Fabletics were A-OK and NOT see through!!! No see through pants? So far thumbs up!
So next up, I wore my Fabletics outfit to teach yoga… and it was awesome. Firstly the pants are so soft and comfortable. Plus they were the perfect length for yoga, and BONUS they made my ass look great! I loved the colors, the merlot red with the black really worked well, and the design on the side of the pants just gave them a little something extra than just being black pants. The top was nice and fit well, and although the material wasn’t what I was expecting (it was thinner than anticipated) it worked great for yoga as a semi-fitted tank and again, super comfortable.
In all I was one outfit into my membership and already loving it. So much so that I did a periscope about my first Fabletics outfit! So how does Fabletics work? Go shopping and decide to become a VIP member, you can do a quick lifestyle quiz or just have them suggest looks for you. Each month you get an email that your “outfits are ready”. Simply go to the website, log in and see what the selections are, just like window shopping. You then have the choice to order or skip. There are a TON of outfits to choose from, with 40% off retail prices and shipping is free if you spend over $49.95.
The great thing is there are so many options of outfits to choose, different sports etc, but they match. I can’t tell you how many times I buy cheap on-sale items at Target and have NOTHING to go with it, but I bought it because it was cheap (totally just did this last month!). Sometimes I eventually find something to wear with it, but I have 2 pairs of blue shorts sitting in my closet with no tank or t-shirt to partner them. Plus I hate wearing colored shorts because they always show the sweat and look like you peed yourself, but that’s a whole other blog post…

All in all I am pretty happy with my first outfit from Fabletics and for $25 for my first outfit I’m blown away by the quality! The pants feel like the super expensive ones from Lululemon but without the fear of showing the class my ass. My October package arrived and I haven’t even opened it yet! Super busy prepping for yoga exams and vacation. As soon as I try it out I’ll be sharing
better photos of that outfit soon, and sharing photo’s monthly as I progress through my VIP membership. You can sign up and get your first outfit for $25
