Strength and Stability Kamagon Ball Exercises for a Mindful Workout

March 11, 2022 //  by Di Hickman//  2 Comments

Something a bit different today, or more like a blast from the past. This is a short mindful workout using kamagon ball exercises. Sometimes we workout to switch our minds off, but really we need to switch them ON and practice our focus and concentration.

If you can’t view the embedded video above, you can view the video on YouTube. Maybe add it to a playlist? Above all, remember to subscribe to my channel. New videos are uploaded regularly. However, for exclusive longer format videos sign up for my Patreon community. Each month we explore poses, transitions, and trouble areas. Patrons also get early access to all my videos, along with lots of other benefits. You join today for as little as $1 a month.

Kamagon Ball Exercises

In this workout we do 4 Kamagon Ball exercises for a total body workout. If you don’t have a kamagon you can use a kettlebell or dumbbell for this workout too. The difference is that the kamagon, being filled with the water is a little more mindful. Because when you begin moving too fast you’ll hear the water sloshing! First up is a squat. Holding the kamagon at the chest, feet wider than the hips and toes slightly turned out. Slowly sit and rise.

For legs, arms, and back we have a lunge with a row. Taking a wide stance, turn the feet to the right. Lift the left heel, and bend the front knee into a high lunge. With the Kamagon Ball in the left hand reach down towards the right foot, then draw the elbow back in a slow controlled rowing motion. Repeat on the other side.

If you like buy one get one free then I highly recommend the dealift row Kamagon Ball exercise. Begin with feet hip width apart holding the kamagon in front with both hands. From the hips tip forward, then row the ball to the bellybutton, Release, rise and repeat. Works the legs, butt, back, shoulders and arms!

The final Kamagon Ball exercise in this workout is a standing figure-8 for the upper body. This is a shoulder burn but so effective. Stabilize your body, hold the kamagon in front of the chest and roll around into a figure 8. This might not be a kamagon ball exercise you can do many reps of as it works the small stabilizing muscles of the shoulders. Hence you get tired quickly!

And that’s it! In and done under 10 minutes. Finish with a yoga class to stretch and release the stress! If you’re interested in a kamagon you can get them on Amazon. I highly recommend them for a versatile and variable peice of fitness equipment that grows with you. Also check out my kamagon ball review. And if you have any questions just ask!

I have tried something similar with cattle bells (I think that is what they are called) and did get on ok with it, not tried a Kamagon ball before though
