Anyone else in denial that it’s July already? Seriously… what the heck! As 4th of July celebrations loom this weekend, I get asked the typical “what are you doing for the fourth?”. My answer is a quiet-ish weekend at home with my husband. As an introvert that’s my preferred celebration. However, this will be our last weekend together for a couple of weeks as Bob is headed to Florida on a work trip. Which means some freedom from each other. Remember we’ve been in lockdown together for 15 months! Normally I’d go with him, but our aging dog is preventing that, so it’ll be me living my independent life, and taking up ALL of the bed for a couple of weeks. Speaking of freedom and independence, that’s what inspired this month’s free coloring page printable of four Independence day bookmarks.

Personally, I found it difficult NOT to use red white, and blue when coloring these but you can choose whatever colors you like. On your page, you have creative freedom. These Independence Day Bookmarks would be a great way to get the kids (or adults lol!) to give you some quiet time this 4th. Use them as bookmarks, on cards, or color them and put them in a planner or journal. Just use your imagination.
