January 2017 I made a conscious effort to purge my closet. Out with the old and in with the new! A fresh start. Since then I’ve culled my closet further and I’ve been exploring using a capsule wardrobe for yoga, life and travel [more on that in a future post]. One thing I did this year was create my own yoga T-shirt. It’s tough finding yoga related clothing anyway that wasn’t crazy expensive (why is yoga clothing so pricey?) so I decided to create my own! I signed up for an Amazon Merch account almost a year ago and I’m finally using it. Fingers crossed I’ll create 1-2 new items each month. Yes, they’ll most likely be yoga related. Yay! Disclaimer: Links in this post are affiliate links, meaning I will earn a small commision on purchases made through those links.
Why Amazon? I don’t know about you but we buy a LOT of stuff on Amazon, so it seemed only natural once I heard they were offering printable merch that I would try it out. Honestly, I tried another service a few years ago and wasn’t happy with the print quality. I’ve had the Amazon yoga t-shirt for a few months, and the print quality is great! The yoga t-shirts have been through the laundry multiple times (on both sides of the Atlantic) and they’re all good as new. I needed to test them out thoroughly before I promoted them.
Do More Yoga T-Shirt Prototype
Initially I created one Do More Yoga t-shirt because I needed a white t-shirt to coordinate with some yoga pants. I literally owned ONE white t-shirt prior to this one which was a free one from the Color Run in 2014. White is my nemesis color as I tend to spill things like beetroot, curry or tea all over myself on a regular basis. Sidenote: this white Do More Yoga t-shirt has already had beetroot bleached out of it, and it’s survived!
So the Do More Yoga t-shirt is available with black text on white, slate (100% Cotton) or heather grey (90% Cotton, 10% Polyester). The t-shirts are imported, and machine washable. Advised to wash cold with like colors, and dry on a low heat. For 9 months I’ve just thrown mine in with the regular wash because I’m lazy and they’ve lasted fine. They are available in Men’s and women’s fit and multiple sizes.
Do More Yoga T-Shirt 2.0
After falling in love with the white yoga t-shirt I knew I wanted to get a black shirt with the same text. So I created it! The white text t-shirt is available again in mens and womens fit, and multiple sizes. Colors available are: Black, Red, Navy, Dark Heather and Heather Blue. I have both the black and red and love them. The red is very vibrant and deep, and of the three is my favorite!
Another thing I love about making these through Amazon is free shipping if you have Amazon Prime (we do, I highly recommend it!) and most items free returns. I originally got the white t-shirt in a small and found it very fitted, which I used to like. However, I ordered a medium for the black/red and much prefer the slightly looser fit. I’m probably going to get another white one in size medium.
Whether you are a yoga teacher, or not, having a reminder in your closet and on your back to do more yoga is a definite positive step to a healthy lifestyle. Plus they are great to simply throw over a bra and yoga pants, and you’re ready for class! Get yours today on Amazon. Links below! I do make a small commision on sales but I’m committed to keeping these affordable so they are just $14.99 each.

Got yoga merch ideas?
Looking for that perfect yoga t-shirt or sweater? I’m currently resourcing ideas for more yoga merchandise! This is mostly a personal endeavour to create clothing for me, and if anyone else wants to purchase one that’s a bonus. This is purely creating things *I* want to wear. That said if you have any ideas for yoga slogans for t-shirts then let me know. I’m working on some ideas for fall/winter!
Questions
- Which is your favorite: White, black or red?
- What slogan would you put on a t-shirt?
- What merchandize stores do you shop at/recommend?

It is a very cute T-shirt. I am not sure I know someone who would love it. Although my daughter really might. I love the red and white T. It looks great.
Di Hickman
The red one is actually my most worn!
Nati
This is such a fun idea! I don’t practise yoga but I can definitely see myself creating my own “nail artist” t shirt!
Di Hickman
do it!
Anshika Juneja
I love all of them but black one is my favorite. Yoga is more than physical exercise. It has a meditative and spiritual core. My favorite yoga-asana is surya-namaskar. I’ve been practicing yoga from last 5 years.
Di Hickman
Yoga is so much more than the asana for sure!
Morgan Shaw
The t-shirt looks high quality and really nice my favourite in red! I wondered do you pay as per order comes in ? Not sure of the company but some companies print on behalf of you as a transaction is made and takes a fee.
Di Hickman
They are printed on demand by Amazon so each order is individual. Just wish more styles were available!

Those are all really cute shirts – what a great idea! Personally I would never trust myself to wear the white, but I like all the other colors that you’ve shown.
Di Hickman
Hahaha funny because I recently stained the white one! I cannot be trusted. Thankfully I managed to keep it a while before ruining it.
Helene
That looks so cool. I like the red and the black t-shirt. I need to have one of these, maybe I ll be in the mood to start yoga again.
Di Hickman
I made them as a reminder to myself each time I reach in the closet!
Patricia Chamberlain
I love every color of the shirt, but the black is my favorite. I tend to gravitate towards darker colored clothing for myself.
Di Hickman
Hahaha me too! Recently stained the white shirt!
Stephanie
This is such a cute shirt! I have a hard time finding shirts to match a few of my yoga pants, too. I like the white with black letters for that reason, and I’m partial to the red because it’s my favorite color. Any chance you’ll have it in v-neck? I can’t wear crew neck after thyroid surgery that left me so sensitive to anything touching the scar.
Di Hickman
Unfortunately Amazon is yet to do V neck 🙁 Trust me I prefer V neck also!

That’s a lovely t-shirt and a great remoder to do more yoga. I lift weights and it’s very important to do some yoga and pilates for balance and flexibility!
Di Hickman
Yes balancing out the strength with flexibility and mobility is important!
