CXworx 9 playlist

January 20, 2013 //  by Di Hickman//  Leave a Comment

cxworx

Time for another playlist this month and this time it’s cxworx 9! I’ve already done BodyPump 84 and here is the perfect compliment to it CXworx 9. As usual there are some Les Mills exclusive remixes  or songs not available on iTunes/Amazon so when possible I’ve linked to remixes and put the original artists in brackets   I’m having issues with iTunes creating new playlists so no playlist on iTunes (sorry) but I’ve linked up to Amazon in the playlist below. Again some links may not be the actual songs played in class due to Les Mills redoing tracks with remixes using their exclusive artists, or just Amazon not having the particular mix available  Enjoy!

Warm Up. Some Nights – Stopping Hurdle (original by Fun)
Core 1. In for the kill – Asking Lime (original by La Roux)
Standing 1. I don’t care – Payback Love (original by Fall Out Boy)
Standing 2. Turn all the lights on – T-pain feat. Ne-Yo
Core 2. Guilt – sniffing soda (original by Nero)
Core 3. Run this town – Caramel Paper (orignal by Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West)
Bonus: Core 1. Speak up (original mix) – laidback luke feat, wynter gordon
Bonus: Standing 2. Express yourself – diplo feat. Nicky Da B
Bonus: Core 3. Princess of china – yellow puppet (original by coldplay & rihanna)

I have to say that this was the worst release for music in my opinion. As usual though they’ve choreographed the moves to the music perfectly and it really does liven the music up when you actually perform the moves. I really loved release 8 though, so that was going to be hard to beat. I’m still not sold on Core 2/Core 3 but I like the moves to core 2 which turns the lights on the release for me 🙂

What do you think? Good music this release?
