As I already posted the BodyPump playlist for release 83, I figured let’s do CXworx 8 too! I get asked a lot about the music playlists for the new releases (almost as much as my spin playlists) I figured I’d just post them to my blog. Usually I’d link this post to iTunes to show you the playlist however since Apple just dropped ping for iTunes I now have no way of sharing that playlist 🙁 Guess I have to wait for the next version of iTunes which is reportedly linking up to facebook directly. I’m going to try and share the playlist as linked directly to my playlist, let me know if it works – cxworx 8 playlist on iTunes
Warm Up: What Makes You Beautiful – One Direction
Core Strength 1: Vogue – Natural Boss [Les Mills remix]
Standing strength 1: Something in your mouth – Nickleback
Standing strength 2: Dirty Dancer (Alvin Risk Remix) – Chosen Diva [Les Mills remix]
Core Strength 2: #1Nite (one night) – Cobra Starship
Core Strength 3: Out of my head – Lupe Fiasco Feat. Trey Songz
The warm up is fun, and easy to do. Vogue is hard, 2 1/2 minute hover in this track 🙂 Love it! Standing strength are always fun but for me I still prefer “money for nothing” and “Pause”! Pause is one of the most requested tracks. Standing strength 2 is pretty tough though, so this one may be one I come back to a lot. Track 5 (core 2) is good, nice upbeat song with great choreography. I love the abs at the end, same moves as in BodyCombat 53 (playlist coming!). I have to say I’m not a fan of the kneeling band tracks (track 6) so this one will probably get replaced first. It’s not that I don’t like doing them, it’s just that most the people in the class don’t feel successful despite coaching before, during and after.
All in all a great release.Favorite track – track 2! Vogue baby!
What’s your favorite?

Yup like I mentioned in the post that one is a Les Mills original remix so I doubt it will be available anywhere. You can find remixes on iTunes. I just linked to the original by Madonna as it’s classic 😉
