I subscribe to Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. So each month I get a box of cruelty free beauty products in the mail. The box includes 4-7 products of mostly full size or deluxe sample size. Each product is mostly organic and natural. No parabens or nasty things. In each box there is a mix of skincare and makeup. Plus there is always something new and fun in each box. I’ve been subscribing to this beauty box for 18 months and though Vegan Cuts have found some of my favorite products and companies. I’ve discovered my signature scents from Pacifica, favorite eye creams, lipsticks I love and in this month’s box, my favorite nail polish, ever. Like ever, ever. Seriously this nail polish is the bomb!

Cruelty Free Beauty Box Subscription
Just incase you’re curious yes, this is ALL cruelty free makeup and skincare. No animals were harmed making the products in this box. Can you say the same about products you’re currently using? If not, maybe it’s time to change! Vegan Cuts delivers this box of goodies every month right to your doorstep. They have multiple subscription options. Each box has a retail value of $40-$60 but the real value is knowing you’re being kind to your skin and the animals. The March 2017 beauty box contained 5 products with a total value over $65! Immediately I was drawn to two items in this month’s box, but let’s unbox in order shall we?
Lip Balm by Shea Moisture
Sometimes in the boxes there are two scent or color options. I received the coconut hibiscus lip balm by Shea Moisture, others may have received the fruit fusion coconut water. I have to say that this is the perfect lip treatment after using the lip scrub in last month’s box. Definitely a great way to rehydrate lips. I admit I’ve also used it on my hands, nails, and any rough patches. I do with all lip balms. Very hydrating, soothing and no nasty chemicals! $3.99 value.
Detox mineral bath salts by Plantlife
In the 18 months I’ve been subscribing to Vegan Cuts beauty box I’ve received two bath salt type products. This is the third. I’m just not a bath fan. Plus here in Southern California we’ve had a drought and baths are a waste of water compared to showers. We do have a foot spa so I’ll be using this PlantLife bath salt in our foot spa instead of bath. $5.95 value
Body Moisturizer by Hempz
Winter is not kind to skin, The cooler temperatures and indoor heating dry out our skin and mine is also getting drier as I age. Plus honestly dry aging skin seems very noticeable this year. Or I’m just more observant. So I always appreciate moisturizers, eye creams and body lotions. This body lotion from Hempz is great. Smells amazing, you can really smell the hemp and watermelon. Plus a little goes a long way and it absorbs really well. $7.30 value. I can definitely see myself buying this in the future.
Nail Polish by LondonTown
By far my favorite product in this month’s beauty box is this nail polish by LondonTown. I admit that I’m not the best at manicures. I don’t have the patience to go and sit anywhere while they do my nails so I do them at home. Usually over the course of a day, or two. Nail polish I tend to wear seldomly as I like to coordinate blue with blues outfits, pink with pink etc. Which generally means I hardly wear any as it needs changing a lot. Then Vegan Cuts found me this BRILL-ANT nail polish shade by LondonTown. SO COOL!
Now if you can’t tell in the pic it looks like a metallic pinky purple color in the bottle. As always when I get these boxes I’m super excited to try new shades and products and immediately knew this was a favorite. Why? Well, firstly it applies great. Solid color. One application is all that’s “needed” for full coverage. Second it’s definitely metallic after one coat.
Mostly though I loved the color. What I discovered over the course of a week is the color plays to whatever you’re wearing. If I wear pinks/reds it looks more pinky purple. If I pair with blues it looks slightly bluey purple. It reminds me of the photo of the famous color changing dress (do you see gold/white or blue/black). The nail polish fitted all occasions and outfits colors. WIN! $16 value.
Cleanser by Modicum Skincare
Second favorite product of the March box is this two part cleanser by Modicum Skincare. In a previous box I received their face serum which was awesome, and a favorite product. So I was eager to try this cleanser and was not disappointed. The little jar contains the scrubby particles of the cleanser. Simply put a little in the palm of your hand and add 2 squirts of the liquid cleanser. This REALLY cleans of the most stubborn makeup, and left my feeling fresh and clean. $32 value.
All in all another amazing box! My firm favorites this month were the cleanser by Modicum skincare and the Nail Polish by LondonTown. Two amazing products. Definitely the clear winner though is the fact that all of these products are vegan, and cruelty free. Looking forward to April’s box already! If you are interested in signing up then check out the Vegan Cuts website. They have a monthly beauty box, snack box, quarterly makeup box and have lots of other great items in their store.

Vegan Cuts beauty box sounds just the thing for me! Cruelty-free is a very important aspect of consideration for me and I like experimenting.
Di Hickman
Sounds like you’d love this box!

Even before I read that the lotion smelled like hemp and watermelon, I was curious about the Body Moisturizer by Hempz. I would love to get my hands on some of this.
Di Hickman
It smells amazing, and is really great on my skin
Rachel Catherine
That’s such a fun nail color! I love the slight shimmer. I also love the idea of a cruelty free box since I love animals.
Di Hickman
I have worn it all week. A record for me!
Kit Stanwood
This is great ! I love cruelty free products . I can’t believe there are even cruelty products out there still. It’s insane.
Di Hickman
I hear ya! unfortunately it’s many of the big brands too that still test on animals 🙁
Donah
Agree with the nail polish! Such a fab color 🙂 Love how everything is cruelty free, all products should go this way!
Di Hickman
Totally agree!
Blythe Alpern
I haven’t tried polish from Lakur, but I love that color. It is stunning. I’ve gotten rid of all my non-cruelty free polishes or any that aren’t 3,5, or 7 free. If I didn’t have so many beauty products to try I would subscribe to Vegan Cuts. I want more vegan and cruelty-free products in my collection.
Di Hickman
Yep so many products out there to try.
Leslie Hernandez
This box looks amazing and has really great products. Hempz is a really great cream and is very good for sun burns my sister swear by it lol…
Di Hickman
I keep hearing that about the lotion! Don’t want to get a sunburn to try it out lol. But good to know 😉
Heather
This box looks great and I love that nail polish! I honestly don’t know if all my beauty products are cruelty free but I would prefer they were!
Di Hickman
Time to do some research girlfriend!
Heather
I love doing my nails – well correction, loved. Once I realized what was in nail polish I stopped using it (sad sad day). I never even tried to find an alternative! I am definitely going to look into this one! I love the color, so pretty!
Di Hickman
Yep there are lots of nasty things in beauty products! Shampoo is terrible too!
Vicky
How cool that there is a vegan beauty box! This would make a great gift for my vegan friend who has a hard time finding products.
Di Hickman
That’s why I signed up! I was annoyed with companies saying they were cruelty free when they weren’t!
Lydia
I love this entire box! I love vegan beauty supplies, these look perfect. And that nail polish is so pretty! I little too dark for me (because of Spring) but it would be so perfect for winter.
Di Hickman
Honestly in the bottle it looks dark. In person on, it’s perfect for spring! Like a metallic pastel lilac color.
Reesa Lewandowski
I never knew that there was such a thing as Vegan nail polish! This is great! I love the colors!
Di Hickman
Vegan everything now! Thankfully!
Kecia | From Mom's Desk

I love vegan, all natural, and organic products. They’re perfect for sensitive skin. I think this subscription box is awesome, it gives you a chance to try different vegan products and see what works well.
Di Hickman
Exactly! I love that I find new brands and products!

These colors look really nice! I don’t think much about whether my nail polish is vegan, but I have friends who do.
Di Hickman
Cruelty free is important to us vegans 😉

It’s an amazing color. Wore it with grey yoga pants today and it looked like metallic grey/silver!
Krystel | Disney on a Budget
That subscription box looks great! I had no idea that vegan nail polish existed but it does make sense! All of the stuff in the package looks pretty interesting.
Di Hickman
No chemicals and no animal testing, what’s not to love?
Ana De- Jesus
I try and use as many cruelty free products as I can but sometimes I am unsure as some brands are not transparent enough about whether they test on animals or not. That nail polish looks lush x
Di Hickman
Nail polish is amazing. My fav color ever!
I know what you mean though, that’s why I choose vegan brands
karen
I am so mindful about supporting companies that are cruelty free – and thank you for sharing these companies with us. Question – how long did that polish last on your nails prior to chipping? Looks so pretty, but I’m having a hard time finding long-lasting polish.
Di Hickman
Honestly Karen I’ve yet to find ANY that withstand my wear and tear. Toe nails last ages. Fingernails maybe 3 days. I’m not a girly girl though, I was out gardening at the weekend and chipped two nails there. I just applied more over the top. Looked ok as long as you didn’t look too close lol
robin Rue
Oh cool! My sister in law is a vegan, so she will definitely appreciate this! I know she loves finding out about new products.
Di Hickman
That’s the reason I love this subscription box! They do gift subscriptions too 😉
