Vegan Beauty Box
Each month I get this awesome vegan beauty box from Vegan Cuts packed with 4-7 beauty products. Including skincare, haircare, makeup etc all of which are cruelty free, vegan and contain no harsh chemicals. Honestly my skin has never felt or looked so healthy! You can find out more about a beauty box subscription at Vegan Cuts. I also did a video unboxing which you can view below, or on YouTube. June Vegan Beauty Box – Uplifting Beauty
There were 6 products in the June vegan beauty box and the theme was recharging body, mind and soul. That means taking some time for self care. Summer can be super busy with days full of beach plans, day trips, and BBQs that’s it’s easy to forget that we need some downtime. Trust me I definitely need some R & R so this vegan beauty box is just what I needed this month.
Adoratherapy Mood Boost $20
One thing I enjoyed in last month’s box was the aromatherapy spray by Little Moon Essentials so I was happy to see more aromatherapy in the June box. This adoratherapy “awake” spray is a blend of essential oils including Tulsi, cinnamon, patchouli, rosewood, neroli, and frankincense in a coconut base. The key benefits to this spray are clarity, ambition and focus. I’ve said before that each box seems to just ‘fit’ with what I NEED at the current moment and this one is no exception. Why do I need clarity and focus I hear you ask? Well four weeks ago I had four of my wisdom teeth removed and since then I’ve been dealing with sinus pressure (my left maxillary sinus won’t drain), which is stealing my clarity, focus and motivation. I love this blend, it helps give me a little boost mid afternoon when my energy and focus start to wane. Right now, I REALLY need this!
ClariSEA exfoliator $5
Since I was a teenager I’ve been a big fan of exfoliating my skin. It feels better, looks better and just glows when it’s given a regular exfoliation 2-3 times a week. Usually this means buying a scrub but I’ve been really happy with this powder by ClariSEA that you add to your regular daily cleanser. I can tell you that when I was training for my triathlon my skin was super soft from the saltwater and this exfoliator contains sea salt that seems to give me the same results! It’s gentle but oh so effective. Really impressed with this product and it’s definitely a product I will be buying in the future.
Sade Baron body cream $7
Summer is here, and along with that comes 100° temperatures, pool water and dry skin. I think honestly dry skin is a year round thing I’m dealing with now so any kind of body moisturizing cream gets a big thumbs up from me. I really liked this one by Sade Baron. Though thick, it absorbs REALLY well! My skin soaked it up like a sponge. The lavender scent was subtle too.
Earthly body essential oil blend $5
As the theme of this box is to recharge it seems natural that essential oils and aromatherapy take the forefront. As I mentioned before, I so NEEDED the recharge after my surgery and loved this Miracle Oil soothing formula by Earthly Body. For me this is double duty product. I get the mental soothing from the aromatherapy and the oil helps rehydrate my body. If the Mood Boost was there to keep me focused and sharp, this essential oil helped counter that. Especially good in the evening when it was time for some self care.
Little Moon Essentials Mineral Bath $1
Regular readers will know that I’m not a fan of baths, let alone bath salts. Baths waste a lot of water, so not really eco-friendly. I do use my foot spa occasionally (should use it more often, honestly my feet are so neglected!), so I use my bath salts in there. However I was happy to learn that this Mineral Bath could also be used as a shower scrub! I used mine in the shower and it worked great as a body exfoliation.
Jing Ai Lip & Cheek Glo $10
Of all the products in this month’s box this was my least favorite. However it’s growing on me… Always the way, right? This lip and cheek glo by Jing Ai is is a great product, it’s more the shade I’m struggling with. It’s very… pink! Maybe not a bad thing but I’m starting to realize that not every lip color looks good at 45 years old. Perhaps it just needs to grow on me? Who knows. For now though, it’s cheek glo, not lips.
Total value of this month’s box is $48 which is a steal considering I paid less than half of that price! Not only do I get 6 awesome vegan beauty products but I can rest assured I’m making healthier choices for my body, mind, and my soul. Again, check out Vegan Cuts subscription options to sign up for your monthly box of beauty goodies.

What an amazing beauty box! I’m a nursing mom so I’m super picky about what I put in & use on my body. These products are the ones I gravitate towards… all the natural stuff! I love that lip and cheek stain!
Di Hickman
Yes nursing moms have to be so careful what they use!
The Culinary Jumble
I love the fact that these are vegan. I don’t use a lot of beauty products but hate the thought of any kind of animal use or cruelty in products. Sounds like a lot for your money – a bargain!
Di Hickman
Definitely! I try to ensure all items I use (shampoo etc) are cruelty free
Kerri
Love the products that came in this box. My favorites would have to be the mineral bath and the cream. I bet they were awesome to try!
Di Hickman
The mineral bath was good as a body scrub, the cream was amazing!
Angela Tolsma
I love aromatherapy sprays! They make my day so much better! The exfoliate looks like a powder? Is it activated by water? I definitely don’t do this enough! It’s good to find vegan products!
Di Hickman
The exfoliator is a powder. You can use with your regular cleanser or with water
Pam
You are so right about not only watching what you put IN but also watching what you put ON your body. There are so many toxic chemicals in the everyday products we use! I love subscription boxes and will definitely take a look at this. ( And who doesn’t need a Mood Boost sometimes?)
Di Hickman
Yep, our skin is our biggest organ. We have to be careful with what it absorbs!
