Confession time: Sometimes I struggle to get my own workouts in (aside from classes). This week has been one of those weeks. I’ve taught a few extra classes this week and I’m pooped out. This is one of the reasons I encourage the 10-20 minute workouts. While you may not have time or energy, you can do anything for 10 minutes, and it all helps! One of the things I’ve been doing is more mobility work, and work for my glutes. This is one reason I was happy to review these resistance bands by NeeBoo Fit (in exchange for an honest review), the great news is that YOU can get 25% off by entering the code BLOG2MAY on checkout, more details are available on the NeeBoo Fit website by clicking here, the promotion lasts till May 31st 2015. You can see my video review below, or on my YouTube Channel.
I already have bands similar to this but was curious to try these out as they are a SIX piece set, usually the bands you get are individually available or in sets of three. The bands come in their own carry pouch with instructions for a few exercises. Each of the bands is a different color (as you can see above in the photo) and each has the logo plus the resistance level. Even if English isn’t your strong point then there are dots along one edge dictating the resistance level.
Resistance bands are used in physical therapy, corrective exercise, and mobility work. They work to build strength through continuous resistance. The NeeBoo Fit bands were great to use, and though they did have a rubbery smell it wasn’t off putting. Each band is 2″ x 12″ and you could use multiple bands for more resistance. I liked the addition of the bag for storage, and unlike other equipment all the bands fit back inside the carry bag once I’d used them. Resistance bands are great for home workouts as they need very little storage space, These are literally the size of a large orange. How’s that for space saving? Of course I have an assistant that makes things a little more challenging at times…
In all if you’re looking for a space saving way to build strength these resistance bands are a great idea. I especially like that they work the back which is tough when you workout at home. Everyone has space for these so storage isn’t an issue. Great purchase for your home gym.
